Da Lat is a mountain city on the Lam Vien (Langbiang) plateau, 1,500 m above sea level. A cool climate (+18–22°C), pine forests, strawberries, coffee and flowers. French villas and misty mornings. Popular with Vietnamese newlyweds and with people tired of the heat.
