The west bank of the Hàn River: the Dragon Bridge, Hàn market and Da Nang Cathedral, with the airport about 10 km away.

Da Nang is a modern port city in central Vietnam, set between the mountains and the sea, 30 km from Hoi An. My Khe beach lies within the city, and the infrastructure is well developed.
Best season: February to August. Rainy season: September to January. Less heat than in the south, and the mountains bring cooler air.
A lively expat scene with many remote workers. Coworking spaces, an English-speaking environment, international schools.
Since 1 July 2025 Da Nang no longer has districts (quận): the city is divided into new wards (phường) under Resolution No. 1659/NQ-UBTVQH15, and Da Nang itself has merged with Quảng Nam province (National Assembly Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15). Listings and locals still use the old district and neighbourhood names, and that is how people choose where to live. Below are the four districts people search for most.
There is no single "Russian district" in Da Nang, and there are no official figures by district. Russia has a consulate general in Da Nang.
Since 1 July 2025 Quảng Nam province, Hội An included, has been part of the city of Da Nang. Hội An's old town is about 32 km by road from the Dragon Bridge and about 29 km from Da Nang airport.
Distances are by road, measured on OpenStreetMap in October 2026.
